Troubleshooting Connection Issues

Having trouble connecting your accounts? Here are a few common issues and how to resolve them.

My Facebook business Page isn't appearing.

Make sure you’re signing in with the Facebook account that has the necessary access to manage your practice’s business Page.

If someone else manages your Page, they may need to grant you the appropriate permissions.

My Instagram account won't connect.

Check that your Instagram account is a professional Business account and is properly linked to your Facebook business Page.

Remember, your Facebook Page must be connected to Get Social before you can connect Instagram.

I accidentally selected the wrong Facebook Page.

Return to Get Social > Settings and check whether an option is available to disconnect or update your Facebook connection.

If available, follow the connection process again and select the correct business Page.

If you’re unable to change the connected Page, contact our Support Team for assistance.

I connected my accounts, but my posts aren't publishing.

Check that your Facebook and Instagram connections are still active.

If either connection has expired or permissions have changed, you may need to reconnect your account.

You should also confirm that your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account are still properly linked.

I'm being asked to approve permissions. Is this normal?

Yes! When connecting your accounts, Meta will ask you to authorize Get Social to access the necessary Facebook and Instagram features.

These permissions allow Get Social to publish scheduled content on your behalf.

Review the requested permissions and approve those required for the connection to work correctly.

Need Additional Help?

Facebook and Instagram occasionally update their features and settings, so some screens may look slightly different depending on your device or account.
